    Access denied error while running one of the macro in excel

    Hi
    I have an excel sheet that contains three macros and when iam trying to launch one of the macro it is throwing an error like

    " access denied contact your administrator followed by a pop up window with number 400."

    i have used the same sheet couple of days and now it is creating problem.

    pls help

    when i am running the macro related to
    Refreshextractandpivots it is throwing error and others are running fine.

    As it's saying talk to your Administrator, my guess would be that you do not have appropriate access to one of the folders or files. It could be that you cannot open a file in a folder owned by someone else.

    Can you refresh all the pivot tables manually?

    No iam unable to refresh and i have access to all the folders as well.

    So, if I understand your last post correctly, you are NOT able to refresh all the pivot tables manually. BUT you think you have access to all the necessary files and folders.

    I would suggest that you try to refresh each individual pivot table manually and see which of them fail.

    That will narrow down the search.

    we have only one table and i am able to refresh it manually.
    will i be able to refresh only one particular sheet that contains pivot ables or that particular tabel directly?
