Charts - Show/Hide series (Scatter Plot)

I have 3 series in a scatter plot. I would like to Remove the series Jim by clicking the "Remove Jim" macro button. (Note that the Jim series is colored GREY)


If I delete the series like this, then when I add the series again, I have to re-create the chart and all the series coloring may be different.

Is there any way to HIDE a series so that when I UNHIDE it by clicking the "Add Jim" button, the series will be the same color as previously (eg. GREY)?

**EDIT: Another option would be to color it transparent and hide it from the legend. I know how to color it transparent, but I could not figure out how to hide it from the legend.

Do you use 2010 or 2013 (last code you posted was from 2013)? In 2013 you may hide series but for earlier version you must delete, or change formatting to hide it.

This achieves what I am trying to do for the series points. However, is it possible to also hide/show the series name from the LEGEND?
