    Messages in Excel

I am using excel 2007 for a work project and I am trying to keep track of names and dates, can a message come up on the scree when a date in the column of cells is almost due for review.
can someone explain how I may even think about trying to set something like this up
    Thanks

    Re: Messages in Excel

If conditional formatting (You could make such almost due row highlighted for instance in yellow) is not enough you can use a short macro to do it.
Macro shall probably run automatically every time you open the workbook, so serve as Workbook open event handler.
Or may be - worksheet activate? A lot in it's design will depend on your data layout.

But honestly most cases I'd say conditional formatting shall be enough.
