Spreadsheets are employed for a huge range of purposes from shopping lists to multi-dimensional technical analyses. However, at first glance, you cannot tell whether a cell value contributes to a formula, is itself a formula, is empty but will contribute to a formula when completed, looks empty because the formula is designed that way or is, perhaps, simply some helpful text.
ACBA Mapping is an Excel Add-In designed to map out a spreadsheet with these considerations in mind. It is not intended to replace the auditing functionality that already exists in Excel. Rather it is designed to map out the overall shape of spreadsheet accordingly to the functionality that each cell contributes to the whole.
However, those shapes can guide you to anomalies within a spreadsheet that deserve further investigation. This is the underlying value of mapping your spreadsheet.

For some, this post will be for the second time of reading. There has been a systems glitch and the original appears to have been deleted.
