    Chat (re chappo)

I agree with chappo, a chat function would be great. Especially one where you can talk to a buddy on your list and edit each others macros without posting a forum. Or a general one where you can do the same but anyone can join in.

I thought the object of a Forum was to share ideas and methods. There are already sufficient methods of 1-to-1 communication including Private Message.
A chat would really need to be monitored so that incorrect postings could be removed.
Another nice feature would be some security on operning a new thread on all except the Testing forum, to cut out the advertising. Perhaps the New Thread screen should do something like contain a picture of 5 letters which would need to be entered in a security box.

    But, 'yes' to the chat.

Totally agree with having security on new threads to remove advertising and other 'strange' postings . Another idea to go with the security box could some kind of checker that looks for certian words and stops you posting if one is found. However creating that might be quite difficult. As for the security on a 'chat' feature that too would be difficult, but you could run a similar word checker as mentioned above.

    Just an idea

    Quick note

The users that Spam are users that sign up in order to spam. Therefore putting security on would be pointless and tedious for you.
I am currently dealing with reducing the spam by manually deleting them and am awaiting moderating rights in order to ban these users that are obviously violating the forum rules.
Until then please feel free to report Spam and I will delete them promptly.

    Thanks
