OSX10.15.3 Excel 16.16.13
I apologize for the size of the screen shots, but I can't figure out how to reduce them, nor can I produce the results in a smaller file to attach. Cells copied to a new file don't reproduce the issue.
After inserting some rows in excel, the selected cells don't "line up with" the values in the formula bar. Values typed IN a cell show up in the cell BELOW. In the example below, the selected cell shows 88 in the cell, but displays 89 in the formula bar (The 89 in the formula bar appears in the next cell below the 88.) Excel 2.jpg
Also, after inserting multiple rows, if I enter sequential values in a few rows, then drag down to continue the sequence, I end up with skipped rows. Excel 3.jpg
Another "symptom" is that when I select a row (376 in this example), it appears like this: Excel 4.jpg -
This is VERY frustrating, and doesn't happen all the time; the only thing I can figure out is that it seems to happen on a new page. My solution so far is to keep deleting values from the affected cells and typing in again, and eventually I can type the values I want in the cells. I've never had this problem before, but it's as if there are bogus cells being inserted when I copy rows. I've tried reformatting the affected cells, manually deleting content in the cells, and nothing seems to work.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
