How to color a cell when two conditions are met

    Hello.
I'm trying to solve a problem where if F2 is less than zero and B2 is greater than A2, then cell H2 is red.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Re: I am trying to solve a probem with formulas and conditional formatting, without any lu

Tom - you are completely missing the point.

Your title should tell us what the issue is that you are trying to resolve.

I am trying to solve a probem with formulas and conditional formatting, without any luck
Most people who post here are looking for a formula to try to solve something - it's the SOMETHING (the PROBLEM) that should be in the title.

Your title tells us NOTHING about the nature of the request as outlined in your first post.

    Try again, please. Thanks.

EDIT: Thank you - you've got the right idea now.

Re: How to color a cell when two conditions are met

I don't use Google Sheets, however some things are very similar or the same as Excel.

In Excel, you'd use a formula CF rule for cell H2:

    =AND(F2<0,B2>A2)
