Google Sheets not autoupdating for tabs using indirect that reference a Tab with Tab Names

Hi All,

I have a pretty large google sheets that has several tabs that are using indirect index match match that all refer to one singular tab that houses the specific name of each tab where you pull in the values from. For some reason, each time the google sheets is reopened, I have to go to this central tab that houses all the specific names and recopy down the formula for each person. The formula that I am using is an iferror with concatente and left,mid,find to force a certain name based on certain attributes.

When I do repull down the formulas it refreshed all the values, but it is really odd that I would need to keep doing that every time new data is updated. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so how can you resolve it?

if you are putting all the sheet names into a sheet then you are making things slow down unnecessarily.

The tab is to simplify the process for all users so they know exactly where do pull information from and the formalized tab names that should be used. It is intentional by design for an improved UI.

this sounds a lot more like using the list of tab names in formulas than just convenient UI for users.
