    Google Sheets Apps Script for Controlled Data Entry

    I need assistance with an Apps Script for Google Sheets. I have a sheet named "Kwiecien 2024" with multiple users accessing it. I'm looking to implement a script that performs the following checks:

    If a cell in column E is blank, any user can enter data into it.
    If a cell in column E is not blank, only specific users listed in the script should be allowed to edit that cell and enter data into blank cells.

    Could someone provide guidance or share a script that accomplishes this functionality? I'd greatly appreciate any help or suggestions!

    Sorry - I think you're out of luck. 113 views and so far and no assistance offered. This is predominantly an Excel forum, and although some members do sometimes answer questions about GoogleSheets, it may well be that the membership is not up-to-speed with GoogleSheet Apps.

    If a cell in column E is blank, any user can enter data into it.
    If a cell in column E is not blank, only specific users listed in the script should be allowed to edit that cell and enter data into blank cells.
    That can only be done if you have a Workspace account and ALL the users are members of that Workspace.
    As a gesture off appreciation, you can click * Add Reputation at the foot of any of the posts of members who helped you reach a solution.
