Lookup value by choosing column that matches current month

    Hi

I have a table in excel with months of the year across the top, and cumulative costs in the roles by cost type - a bit like this....

    Jun-13 Jul-13 Aug-13 Sep-13 Oct-13 Nov-13
    Cost A 1,500 2,000 2,500 3,000 3,500 4,000
    Cost B 1,000 1,350 1,700 2,050 2,400 2,750
    Total 2,500 3,350 4,200 5,050 5,900 6,750

In another sheet I have a chart that looks at costs to date and draws a little chart. Is there a way of automatically finding the cost to date without me updating manually each month? I was thinking that I could use the "today" function, combined wtih something like a lookup - so, for example, as it's now July, it would that automally pick out that the total is 270, and then as soon as we hit August it would change that figure to 380.

    Is it possible?
    Thanks!!!
