    Code to add record from another sheet if not present on that one.

    On sheet 'Drop Down Data' I have a list of serial numbers (C2:C1048576) with the corresponding item name the the serial number belongs to (B2:B1048576).
    On another sheet 'Data', serial numbers are scanned in (G6:G1048576), and the corresponding cell to the left of it (F6:F1048576) checks for the serial number on the 'Drop Down Data' sheet and enters the item name into it. If it cant find the record on the 'Drop Down Data' sheet it alerts the user to enter it manually. Is there a way inwhich when the user manually adds this data, the 'Drop Down Data' sheet also has the data and serial number added to it (on the next available B and C row) so it will find if when that item gets scanned again in the future?

    Please attach a sample workbook with enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
