Firstly, hello. I know this is suppose to be my "Hello, I'm new to these forums" and such, but I'll spice this introduction up a but with a problem I've been having with the Excel IF function.
Simply, what I'm trying to do, is change multiple cells depending on the value of a single cell.
For example, I might have an IF function that checks if the value in cell A1 is equal to 1.
IF the value in A1 is equal to 1, all I want to do is make the values of Cells B1 to, let's say, G1, equal to the same value.
Is that possible? Because from every example I've seen of the IF function, all it does is display something like "FOUND", or "NOT FOUND" for the true and false results of the function. I want the True and False results to do a little more than that.
I have Google countless sites to try to find a way to do this, but to no avail. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time.
