formula: How to select highest numbers and split an amount between them

I am trying to get a spreadsheet together to calculate prize money, The first column will have 20 rows with a figure in each cell, I then want a formula which will select the highest number(s), count the number of cell entries, (some cells will be 0's which will not count). If there is one higher it will be the outright winner and enter a value in the cell next to the winner, if there are several numbers the same value then it will count these and divide the prize equally between them, again putting the prize value in the cell next to the winners. I would be gratefull for any help! Thanks
