Yikes, running behind here

I've been on here for a few months. I've gotten TONS of really useful help, I can hardly thank people enough. That said, I seem to have a new last-minute emergency every day with this project.

I started a new job just over 6 months ago, enforcing code compliance with the new energy and green building codes (some people cheer, some people groan). Anyway, I'm trying to construct a tool that facilitates compliance and communication about compliance between the project design team, plan reviewers, and inspectors. The intention is to make a painful process less so. More on that later.

I come to the table with a convoluted background including system admin & programming experience in a few languages long ago, and fairly light Excel skills... and otherwise mostly unrelated things like building/designing (houses), environmental advocacy, etc. I've learned a good bit of basic Macro/VBA skills in the meantime...

In my spare time... oh, I have no spare time. Did I mention the new job? It's sort of all-encompassing. I do play a little music though, go rock climbing every blue moon, maybe dance. Oh, and I bike to work, which gets me nearly 2 hours a day of breathing real air. I live in the DC area, so it's only sorta cold here right now.
