Newly hired grad student - recently separated from the military

Hello! I'm a newly hired grad student at a fortune 500 and my position requires an intensive amount of interaction with excel. I just discharged from the military (enlisted 68W HOOAH), didn't get much keyboard-time as a soldier, so, I thought it would behoove me to become a member here for extra guidance. I'm an American, but grew up overseas in South America; fluent in English and Portuguese, my passions are scuba diving, timepiece collecting (boring I know), general outdoorsy stuff, statistical data analysis and demand forecasting/modeling. My job is mainly geared towards the supply chain aspect, such as forecasting and obsolescence management for spare parts on rotor-wing aircraft. At the moment I'm doing fairly easy stuff like multi-sku/time-series regressions and co-variance studies. I would like to learn as much as possible about inventory forecasting in excel 2013. If anyone can recommend a good forecasting add-in that I can purchase (already found a free one called "regressit" - has been helpful), that would be highly appreciated! Sweet forum by the way - super happy that this exists. Looking forward to interacting with you all.
