Hi,
I consider myself as above-average Excel user, but I have no experience with VBA. I am trying to automate some of my regular tasks, and I have reached (my) limit as far as the non-macro usage counts (perhaps 10-20% of Excel potential).
I have "steal" a few macros in the past here and there to accomplish a part of the time consuming tasks, but I have never tried to make one by myself due to my lack of knowledge.
Instead of trying to find someone to do (all of) my work, I think it is fair enough to try and learn, do the hard work by myself, and, only when I stumble upon some obstacle, to ask for help (saying that - it might be at the very beginning... ).
I see people on different forums helping others all the time, and I try to do it with my humble knowledge as well, every time I think I could help.
There is something in giving too, not just in taking...
Cheers
Nika
