Hi:
I've been a consultant to the collegiate textbook-publishing industry for 12 years and routinely work with proprietary platforms requiring a mixture of HTML, data management, artistic interpretation, and grassroots common sense. I am considered a high-end expert in process and problem-solving.
I recently accepted a consultant job as the developer of some new Excel-based software for the administration of a home healthcare agency's timecard and financial data.
This is a company run by old friends that completely trust me to deliver the best solutions to manage their $4.8 million business. They are nurses by profession and need expertise somewhere between the workstation level and the enterprise-server level.
This most-excellent forum has already provided me with several end-runs that have made my Beta versions of their software sleek and highly functional.
Thanks in advance to the moderators, gurus, experts, and wizards. I am truly humbled by this vast subset of the computer sciences and the collected wisdom herein.
Cheers,
Jeff
