    Hello. New member here.

Horse owner here as well as Excel user. Of course, what the two have in common, I'm not sure.

Work and live in the Washington DC area... currently work for Lockheed, used to work for Citigroup.

    That's about it.

Came here as I have a major problem to figure out and I'm striking out. Not a fan of VBA. Love functions.

Almost forgot, my favourite function is Indirect. What a life saver.

D.C., great area, love it. I graduated right close, Ft. Meade High School.

Anyway, good to have you on-board and welcome

As far as indirect, has it's uses, but may want to use it sparingly if you have large worksheets (volatile).

    Thank you, Jeffrey.

The way i use INDIRECT is primarily with text strings, so I think there is less of a volatility problem.

BUT! Thanks v. much for the head's up. I'll keep it in mind if I'm using indirect with numbers.
