just bought excel 2010 not experienced
Hi I am trying to compile a column of random numbers in one column. Any matches i would want 1 to appear in second column next to matched number. then add up all the ones to see how many matches I have. I have learnt formatting colour with matched numbers in column A but cant fiqure how to make 1 appear in column B next to the number matched in column A. Hope this makes sense, thankyou.
Welcome to the forum, you could post your query in the proper forum, try ->Excel Formula and Functions, Click the "Post New Thread" found at the bottom then put proper title which explain briefly what you want or expected result. Preferably a sample file also would greatly help.
