Seems like this is the introduction thread. I am not an Excel Guru but a long time IT person. I have over 30 years experience many as a programmer but I left the road of "doing" to overseeing, directing, etc. many years back and have recently gotten back into a role that allows me to do. I have found that there are several projects I have encountered where Excel is a good tool and I KNOW that I can automate it to get what I want but am finding the documentation I would like, short of forums such as this, an issue. So I am re-educating myself after too many years of being away from coding as I try to solve real problems and cull through documentation and examples. As I learn I will be a better contributor.
