    Hi from Royal Wootton Basset

    Hello all,

    Quick Introduction:

    Born in Goven, Glasgow in 1961 - Servered an apprenticeship in Welding & Fabrication @ Babckocks & Wilcox Renfrew between 1977 > 1983 - Joined HMF R.E.M.E as a Recovery Mechanic and served in Osnabruck, Canada and Bordon. Left the Army in 1987 - Worked in the South of England as a Freelance breakdown mechanic till 1993 before taking a job in the Car Transportation industry. Left car transporting in 2008. Worked for various driving agency company's till 2011, during that time I worked on contract to the Ferrari F1 team, Ducati team and Lotus F1 "now the Caterham F1 team". In 2011 I started as a Driver with Norbert Dentressangle at their Co-Operative CDC distribution centre in Andover. Promoted to QHSE Advisor in Aug 2012. May 2013 I gained a RoSPA Silver award in Occupational Health & Safety.

    My Excel problem:

    I am creating an accident Investigation form and have been given a macro code "see below" that puts a tic in a cell when you use the short cut "ctrl t" it works fine however when I protect the document it come up with a Run-time error '1004' Method 'Name' of object 'Font' failed. Tabs that are available are Continue - End - Debug - Help. Oh and this "ü" is what comes up in the cell after I protect the sheet

    Looked at rule 3 and thought . . . I'm in the wrong forum. But wait, I might be a novice, but I am willing to learn even if the administrator thinks I know what the rule means despite the fact it went right over my head lol quote " I have been them for you in the above post" > No idea what that meant but thank you just the same.

    Oops sorry about that. I corrected that line to read "i have put them for you..." dont know what i was thinking of, when i put that text in there.
