    I just want to know how to ask questions on this forum. I really need help with excel, can anyone guide me?

    Welcome to the forum.

    you can go to the proper subforum say "Excel vba/macro programming" if your question is about vba then you'll find the "New thread option just like what you did to this thread.

    Tips to get answers quickly.

    Members give their free time here to answer question so provide them with workbooks to work with.

    To attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    You can mark your thread solved if you are satisfied with the answers.
    How?
    New quick method:
    Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

    Or you can use this way:

    How to mark a thread Solved
    Go to the first post
    Click edit
    Click Go Advanced
    Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
    Change to Solved
    Click Save

    Note:
    You can also thank those who have helped you by clicking the small star icon located in the lower left corner of the post in which the help was given.
    By doing so you can add to the reputation(s) of those who helped and shared their time in helping you.
