Hello People!

I am a retired physician with a lot of time on my hands! I am tinkering around with Excel and Access for creating a patient database system. Not to worry! It is never going to be deployed anywhere, so I can really play around with it. I came to this forum searching if I can generate random names using string functions in Excel. I found out that I may generate random numbers, but not text (at least on the face of it).

I am afraid, will be learning a lot more here that I can possibly "teach". But as I have time on my hands, I just might one day pick up enough here to help out newbies (at least)!
