Hello everyone!!

Hello everyone. My name is Robert and I live in Paris, France. I am a complete amateur as far as Excel is concerned, which is a bit of a shame. Now, my interest in excel started when I wanted to create a Football(Soccer) league table with regards to fixtures, resullts, and how that affects the table and how the teams rank automatically. That was my first ever look into Excel functions, which led mean on to other functions that I never even heard of.

I hope that someday in the near future, I can be the one to help those who need help. Many thanks in advance for your patience.

Thankyou very much for the warm welcome. I have indeed created a thread just last evening on VLOOKUPs etc and there is a member who is looking into it. As mentioned, I am a relative newcomer to excel and so, I need to understand how the functions/formulas work. I am hoping that I can actually master Excel and be able to lend my time to others who may need help in the future.
