Interested in Unicode and UTF-8 Issues

I started with BASIC on the mainframe in 1973: modifying a program to prove Kepler's laws of planetary motion.

I did a little BASIC on DOS 2.1 and 3.1 and then moved to Visual Basic with version 3.0.

My current focus is on using VBA for Unicode and the various character encoding options in use.

I've also done some database (Oracle, OLE - or DCOM now?, ODBC) manipulation in the past.
