    Just installed Windows 7 (64 bit) on my Mac. Questions....

    Hi Folks-
    I just installed Oracle's virtual box running Windows 7 on my Mac. Objective is to run Microsoft excel. I had a couple of questions;

    1) The 'Windows' window size is smaller than the display screen. Is that a limitation with the VM or is there a way to maximize the window size to the laptop scree size? I did try 'view' --> 'switch to full screen', but it does not help.

    2) I have Excel 2010 running on my Mac. Is it possible to use this excel version on the Windows 7, or should I be purchasing a separate Excel copy?

    Thank you

    excel for mac wont work in a windows environment youll need a version that's compatible with windows
    and i believe once you have installed windows then you need to install the guest addons

    Thanks!!
    For the screen resolution, I just can't seem to get the 'insert guest addition CD image " under DEVICE to work. Clicking on it does not open anything.
