i have 2 tables with 2columns for each (item, price),
i need query shows all items from both tables without duplication and showing 2 prices columns
can i do that with merge only OR with append only and what is the steps ??

You can append as long as the price column in each table has a different name (e.g. Price1 and Price2).

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.
A good sample workbook has just 10-20 rows of representative that has been desensitised. It also has expected results mocked up, relevant cells highlighted and a few explanatory notes.
