    Power Query , Group list ot list of lists

    Hi, I have been trying to come up with a way of grouping a list the same as a table, without transformin the lsit to a table

    so

    I have thought about using accumulate ; this does not work but something like;

    This could be the wroing approach, I think this may be a bit complex ? any help welcome, I've attached the above workbook.

    To what end? I can’t see much point to it for this example and if the real use case is more complicated, it may affect what solutions will work. (Eg your approach is only going to work for a sorted list unless you are intentionally doing a Groupkind.Local grouping)

    I don't see what's wrong with the table approach, but you could do something like this:

    Thanks, I'll close this off, can't give a rep, but would if could, also that is considerably shorter than converting to a table and i have learned something.
