I have created a rule to move any emails from a specific Outlook address book to specific folder.
I created the address book (I created it in the folders section New Folder and selected the type Contact Items), added the contacts, created the folder and then set up the rule, but none of the messages are moved. I can only get it to work if I use the default Outlook contacts address book for my email account, instead of one I made myself. BUT, even then it did not move all messages, only a small amount. And when I tested a new message (sent from myself to myself), I did not move it.
Has anyone managed to achieve what I am trying to? (Move any mails from contacts in a specific Outlook address book.)
I'm using Outlook 2013 and I think the company uses Exchange 2010 still. There are 29 entries in the address book. I've disabled cached mode in case it causes a problem. It's a client-only rule ("runs on this computer only"), if that makes a difference (although other client-only rules pick up all messages fine).
The only alternative I can think of is to create a VBA script to do it.
