    Question Extracting Values between worksheets

    Hi,

I've been looking everywhere but can't seem to find a function or formula to extract values from one worksheet to another when the data in 2 columns on 2 different worksheets match.
To elaborate, I have a worksheet (Product ID) which is my product ID database. This worksheet has 2 columns, Column A= Product ID's and column B = QTY's. Then I have a 2nd worksheet (Count) which is linked with a AutoCAD data extraction table. It has 3 columns, Column A= Count, Column B = Product Name & Column C = Product ID.
I want to extract the values in Column A (Count) on the Count worksheet to Column B (QTY's) on the Product ID's worksheet if the product ID's match i.e. if product ABC in row 3 of the extracted table has a value of 7 this value (7) needs to be extracted to column B of product ID worksheet in the same row as product ID ABC no matter which row it is in on this worksheet. See sample worksheets attached
Can anybody please advise if such a function exists or tell me how to create such a function, please?

    Re: Extracting Values between worksheets

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.

If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.

Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
    Hope that helps.
