Run Rules on IMAP on startup

I have 2 IMAP accounts setup in Outlook 2007. I get the emails on my phone and through Outlook. Problem is that the messages that I read on my phone don't appear as "new" when I open Outlook, therefore the rules don't apply to them. Is there some sort of Macro that would run rules on my Inbox regardless of whether the message is "new" or not? Right now I have to go and run each rule manually once a week or so. BTW I have no idea how to write a macro. Just wondering if there is one out there somewhere.
