Importing csv files to task list with user defined fields

I have a large amount of csv files with each containing vary amout of tasks. Since outlook cannot import user defined fields I am looking for a way to speed up the process. The task view has only one of 5 columns that are not user defined. Is there anyway to bring in user defined field? The macro can run from either the excel sheet or outlook. I am fine opening each sheet and starting the macro if needed.

Re: Importing csv files to task list with user defined fields

Since Outlook is supported with VBA, it can read CSV files. When you say "user defined fields", I'm not sure what you mean. With a text file that is used for configuration work, the format inside the file defines what data is used for whatever.

I do not understand "...with each containing vary amout of tasks". This has no meaning to me.

I'm willing to help if you can explain what you are trying to do a bit better.
