This is a comma separated file... Just go to your data tab, highlight the column and Click on text to columns. From here choose Delimited, and check off comma, Next, Finish

Everything will be in its own column

Highlight column A, click on Data | Text to Columns, then in the dialogue box click on Delimited on the first panel, then Next, then click against Comma, then Next, then click Finish.

    Hope this helps.

Re: shifting data to new column

Use Text to Columns inbuilt feature. To do so follow these steps.....

Select the col. A (by clicking on the column letter A) --> Data --> Text to Columns --> Delimited --> Next --> Check the box before Comma --> Next --> Click on the column 1 in Data Preview to highlight it with black color --> Select the radio button Date --> Finish.

    Does this help?
