Paste Special keeping Format of Original Sheet

Morning All. I am trying to copy a sheet in excel to a new sheet in the same workbook, the problem I'm having is the original sheet is formatted exactly as I want it, I can get all the information but the formatting is all over the place. Any tips on how to do this I have tried all sorts of paste special options?

    I don't quite understand.
Do you mean you want to copy paste the value and also the format?
You can do "the paste" part one by one.
    For example:
    select the sheet > copy
    select another sheet >
right click > paste special > value
right click > paste special > format

    Hi gdawsan.tt,

To prevent lost formatting, you may use create copy function.

Assume your current sheet is "sheet1" then the new sheet to be created in sheet2. You may change to any names
