Auto-logging out

Irritating problem - frequently when hopping from forum to forum or to my subscribed threads etc, I am automatically logged out (which I do not notice at the time)


Then, when trying to post a reply, I am told to log in, and by the time I log back in the text of the reply has disappeared and has to be re-input.

Or I cannot access my subscribed threads etc..

I could understand being logged out after a period of inactivity, but that is not the case here.
Using windows7 and GoogleChrome

When you log into this forum, there is a checkbox that allows you to stay logged in. It must be checked or you will be logged out when you leave this web site.

Probably a dumb question but where is the check-box? I do not see it anywhere near the login boxes on my screen.

Just tried using FireFox and the box is visible.
Must be something to do with my chrome set-up - the box is there but not visible!

In Chrome, which I use, it is the Remember Me? checkbox. Directly beneath your login name.
