Re: Open Workbook without downloading

It's impossible to open a file without downloading it either to a temporary folder (done automatically) or another folder (normally your choice). Do you mean that you want to view an attached file without saving it on your computer? If so, that's dependent on your computer's/browser's settings. At work I can't view a file without saving it somewhere (using Chrome) but at home I can (using Firefox).

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.

Re: Open Workbook without downloading

Using Chrome, left click opens a save as dialog (No temp folder). Right click, no option to view it on line like with google sheets although I have installed some extensions to that effect:
Google docs, Google docs offline, Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides, Open With Google Docs, Open with Google Drive™ Viewer, Open with Microsoft Office Online, Ultimate Google Docs Viewer.
Perhaps too many, and perhaps conflicting with each other...

You have to download an excel file from here, to be able to open/view it
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
