Setting to prevent this forum from constantly logging me out?

Sorry if I'm missing something in Settings. This forum is unique in logging me out after, I guess, a few hours. So I return to a discussion thread, I see that someone has commented, I compose a reply - and it's lost, because (a) the forum has logged me out and (b) the forum trashes whatever was written prior to re-login. It is very user-unfriendly and, as I say, it is unique: I participate in a number of forums, and none of the others does that.

It is not "very user-unfriendly", you just need to read what is requitred.

When you 1st log in, there is a box to check for "remember me" - click that, done.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

On most websites, clicking "Remember me" means not having to log in after closing and reopening the browser. The standard security advice is not to click that box when using a shared computer. But, as you say, this site requires users to click that box, even when using a shared computer. It's abnormal, and it's not secure. Standard practice would make more sense.
