I have been online for the last 3 hrs...and i havent faced any issues. I did see some double posts from roy, though. But otherwise, no dbase errors. What does this HTTP error mean?

Yesterday I had the same problem.
Probably caused by posting a suggestion concerning the w_s_c_r_i_p_t_._s_h_e_l_l library
@Roy Must be, you're admin here and YOU messed up the permissions (errr you could try and mess stuff up if you had permissions yourself to do this!

It may be that there is an issue with having HTML turned on for posts thats causing that issue with wscript.shell library statement, but to be honest it shouldn't do anything with it!

Your url is wrong try this http://www.excelforum.com/newthread....=newthread&f=7 then click Submit New post (which is the link you gave but without the http://www.excelforum.com/ as it's done by ajax and not pure html.

Actually, i am an indirect part of the technical team. Vai has his tech guys who are well versed with CSS, Java, HTML, etc. I know VBA and thats it. I am currently assisting Vai in resolving the issues faced in the forum besides answering the questions (the latter is my main interest).
Well, when I click on submit the url changes from http://www.excelforum.com/newthread....=newthread&f=7 to http://www.excelforum.com/newthread....postthread&f=7 resulting in a withe page. I tried with 2 different browsers and from 2 locations.

I tried only here and have no time to test now.
I guess the admins here could do with updating the users counters in admincp>maintainance>update counters it may help if it seems to only be you that is affected.
