    Excel Forum got attacked!

    Hi Everyone

As you might have experienced, the forum has faced malware attacks in the last week. We would like to bring to your notice that as of yesterday, the forum is ALL CLEAR, certified by Sucuri and our top security consultants.

In the last week we were attacked thrice but we got to them pretty quick and the issues were gone before they could become serious. But due to the frequency of attacks a lot of the firewalls are still blocking Excel Forum and sending out warning messages.

We urge you to please bear with us while we resolve this issue and bring to you a consistently clean forum. Meanwhile, Excel Forum is clean to use and will not harm your systems.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

    Hi EF,

I just logged on and found this using IE ver 11.

    Unsafe Content.gif

It might be because IE keeps track of the last login screen to speed things up. After using the forum awhile it looks ok now.

I no longer see my Hybrid view of threads. Did we lose that in the attack?

I don't mean to **** on your bonfire guys, but there is still malware in every single JavaScript file except cannedreplies - so it looks like you cleared that one up.

It's trivially easy to see, it's the obsufacted code that's been inserted at the end.

The site is still riddled and your statement above is misguided at best and malicious at worst.

I'd sack your consultants if I were you.

Chrome still blocks access, although IE11 is happy enough. Kaspersky is not continuing its continual complaints, so maybe that's a result of your efforts.

I've tried clearing the cache but Chrome still isn't happy

Given that, I'd put my faith in Kyle's analysis of the situation ... long way to go.

Oh, and there's still this stuff at the end that means the page loops on loading:

    < IFRAME style="HEIGHT: 2px; WIDTH: 2px; DISPLAY: none" src="de.linkedin.com/in/aliciamattar0101" >< /IFRAME >
    < IFRAME style="HEIGHT: 2px; WIDTH: 2px; DISPLAY: none" src="de.linkedin.com/in/alicia-mattar-6a103998" >< /IFRAME >
