Hi,
Since when did my footer re array formulas - which I've been using for probably 7/8 years - become a canned reply?!
I'm happy that it's being used - just surprised that I wasn't even consulted!

Do you mean this?
I noticed someone had swapped the old text we used to use recently, but I’m afraid I don’t know who it was. I am very sorry whoever ‘borrowed’ your wording did not ask first.**Array formulas are not entered in the same way as 'standard' formulas. Instead of pressing just ENTER, you first hold down CTRL and SHIFT, and only then press ENTER. If you've done it correctly, you'll notice Excel puts curly brackets {} around the formula (though do not attempt to manually insert these yourself)

Oh, well. It's not like I have copyrights on the phrase!
Thanks for replying.

Might want to add a note that some newer versions don't require that?
Rory
Not sure that's really necessary - we don't mention this if it's a newer version of Excel.
