What Should I Opt For MY SQL?

    Hello, all!

This is my first post after just joining this discussion, so please forgive me and provide kind assistance if I have posted to the wrong subsection!

I have a good interest in learning sql server course and right now I am taking help from various platforms
Also I have a doubt that is it a good option to learn from platforms like this or I should go for some server online training . I have searched for the solution of my queries in various above platforms which helped me up to some extent only as it was not directly given by any expert or trainer.

Hoping in getting a quick response

    Thankyou in advance.

Re: What Should I Opt For MY SQL?

    Welcome to the forum.

I have moved this thread to an appropriate section.

This is not a good forum for advice on SQL, I am afraid. Whilst there may be the odd member proficient in SQL, it is not something that is covered regularly, if at all, in our forum sections. The main reasons for coming here will be for:

    - help with Excel formulae & functions
    - help with Excel VBA
    - help with PowerQuery, PowerPivot or PowerBI
    - halp with Word or Access queries

You would probably be better off finding a dedicated SQL forum and asking there.

There are quite a few 'dialects' of SQL, largely depending on what's supported by the the platform you're using, each with slightly different syntax and functions. This isn't too significant at a basic level but can catch you out as things get more complex.
