I grew up with Blue Collar parents in a Blue Collar neighborhood. Since my earliest memories allow me to recollect, we never placed cookies and milk out for Santa.

We always left him a lebanon balogna sandwich and a beer.

My parents always said the Santa was such a hard working man that he needed something more substantial than cookies and milk to get him through his long night.

Santa really did appreciate it it as he always left a thank you note and a few crumbs as evidence he was there.

Anyone else have any quirky little memories about Christmas seasons long ago?
