    Forum Rules

    1) Forum Rules link on every page wrong:

    The link in the lower left corner of every page entitled Forum Rules does not link to the Forum Rules we expect everyone to follow. It links to a VERY short mini-rules page.

    I fear the mini-page is the one new registrants actually see, which may explain why so many register and immediately break posting rules. Did they REALLY see the actual rules we want followed during registration?

    =========
    2) Quick Links:

    I used to be able to point people to the Quick Links menu ...or was it the HOW TO... menu...where they could read the rules without us linking to it for them. The Forum Rules (the ones we expect them to follow) are no longer conveniently and obviously marked there, either.

    Can we please get the two items above sync'd/reinstated?

    That thread didn't appear active. Has anything changed from that thread? There's no feedback indicating so.

    One massive thread seems like a good way to get individual topics missed. Who exactly should I be addressing these issues to? If it's you, are you saying you won't respond unless it's in that thread only? A properly titled and exampled query in a thread of its own will go unanswered?

    Re: Forum Rules

    How did you come to the conclusion that the feedback thread is not active? It's the most active thread on the board right now, with several posts coming in every day. The only inactive part about that thread is the sporadic reaction it receives from the OP.

    Address your issues to Vai.The moderators have no power to change anything about forum functionality or design. In fact, the moderators have been asking for changes for more than 2 years to no avail. I recommended the feedback thread because Vai explicitly asked for feedback in that thread and will check it. Every five days, or so.

    That thread also has a list of items on the member wishlist. Checking if your issue is already listed, you can easily copy the list into a new post and add other stuff you'd like see changed. That way, if things don't happen you know that they have not been missed, just ignored or postponed.

    Thanks Tey, I guess I'm half-asleep looking at that thread before. Yes, it's very active. My bad. I moved my posts into there.
