Here's one of the most poular in Croatia...

    Haldno pivo (Eng. Cool beer)

here's for example their song Nije sve tako sivo (Eng. Not everything that is so grey)

Also one of my favorite bends are Majke (Eng. The Mothers) that aren't active anymore... Their song Mene ne zanima (Eng. I'm not interested)

Depends what you mean by Rock...

I went to see Muse on Saturday. They're pretty popular and not too shabby although I enjoyed seeing them more last year.

I like a pretty wide variety of stuff. Between now and the end of the year I've got tickets for MGMT, Groove Armada, Klaxons, Leftfield, The Pogues, Belle & Sebastian and DeadMau5.

    Looking forward to all them.

So many bands come out of Canada it is hard to define the "best" rock band. I'd say that the most technical band to come out of Canada would be Rush but the most popular is probably Nickelback

    Re: Rock in YOUR country...

Unfortunately, in my country, rock died along with USSR collapsing. The first rock band run away from just-founded Azerbaijan in early 1991, as soon as there was right moment. This doesn't mean that we don't have rock bands. We have... but they are only amateurs: none of them burned album yet, except for one rock band, named as Unformal (video). In any case, rock is not popular here.

As it's known the more to south the less rock fans you can find (I heard that from MTV). I'm pretty sure, that if the most famous rock stars come here, their concert will meet 5 or 6 times less people than the concert of the same performers, say in London.

In addition, I would like to say, most popular rock bands in Baku are: Nickelback, Linkin Park, 30 Seconds To Mars, and so on...

PS: Would love to see Nickelback in Baku... but he will never comes(((

I shared a room at school with a guy obsessed with Rush. I still shudder every time I hear the name...
