why can't i use the formatting buttons to edit new posts to this forum?

ok so why can't i use the formatting buttons for new posts on the forum? i.e. changing the particular font, adding attachments, etc?

You should be able to. However tehre should be no reason to change the Font, adding attachments involves scrolling down the page to use the manage attachments button

good morning. i don't need to change the font. i was attempting to attach a file to a reply and realized that any and all of the function buttons are "locked out". is there something i am overlooking. is there a privilege/option that i may have inadvertently changed? thanks marissa
