    PDF's don't match

This is not an excel question...
There have been instances when I PDF'd something, and the PDF does not match what was PDF'd.

Has anybody ever experienced this, and ever found a solution?

There is some indication that after PDFing, the PDF displayed is from another instance but it is hard to duplicated the problem.

Is this a cache thing? is there a way to clear the cache before PDFing?

    Hey Dave,

I've seen PDFs from BofA that have Korean or some other language as the default character set. Running it through two PDF converters showed non-english character sets. Could your problem have to do with a non-english or secure type of save?

It looks like there has been 10 "standards" as per http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDF also see
http://www.adobe.com/enterprise/standards/ where they list standards by industry?
PDF save was introduced in Office 2007.

    Thanks Marvin,
Sorry for the late return, other posts seem to get in front of this one.
What you have described is not the problem.

Somebody showed me how he gets the wrong PDF as well.
He PDF'd one layout, then PDF'd another layout. The first layout that was PDF'd is the one that showed up the second time. That is why I figure that the cache (or whatever it is called nowadays) has not been cleared, before PDF'ing the next layout.

    Re: PDF's don't match

    Hi Dave,
I use Foxit reader for my PDF viewing. It has a search feature (click on the binoculars icon) that allows opening multiple pdf files simultaneously. This is cool as I keep a lot of dumb pdf monthly bank statements all in the same directory. Foxit allows searching all of them for a word or amount. When you find the next it will jump to the next pfd file in its search.

Perhaps this is what is going on when you say it showed the wrong pdf?

I don't know if Adobe has this multiple pdf file search or not.
