How to search for a user that has no posts?

Um... I feel foolish for not knowing this, but how do you search for a user that has no posts? I can go to "Community" then "Member List" and sort by name and date joined, but it seems like there should be a better way. Is there a Member Search function of some sort?

The reason I ask is because I recommended this site to someone and they say they have registered, but I cannot find their profile. This (I believe) is due to the fact that they haven't confirmed their email yet. So I keep searching for their profile in the hopes they are finally an activated account, but it is very time consuming to search through the Member List.

If you select Search from menu bar and Advanced Search you should be able to search on User Name....

If it doesn't work you can tell me the User name and I can check through the Moderator Control Panel.

If you go to "Community" then " member list" there is a drop donw box named "Searche members" on the right side just before the list starts .

Thank you very much. I would say it is a surprise that I didn't notice it, but really this sort of thing happens all the time.

"Honey, I can't find my new shirt."

"It's in your closet, three from the left."

"Oh, there it is. There wasn't a spot-light on it, so I didn't see it."
