    Favourite English Premier League Teams

    Hi All,

EPL has started with a bang. So wanted to know who are my friends and enemies as far as EPL is concerned . Basically just want to know who I can bully if my team wins or whom to avoid if my team loses . lol…

My favorite team is Manchester United. Glory Glory Man United… And the Reds go Marching On…

    Cheers-
    Inayat

Don't you know that Manchester United doesn't really exist. It is a marketing ploy, a figment of a warped mind, designed to get gullible people all over the world into buying 'branded' tat merchandise at vastly inflated prices. These things get made in countries like yours for 10 bob, and sold here for £50. Looks like it works.

    Hello Inayat,

Although I was born in a town that is now part of "Greater Manchester" I support a London team - perhaps you can work it out from my sig?

@Bob... More than a century old club is a marketing ploy... hard to believe... I am just guessing you are one of those who switched from Man Utd when they were bought by American...
Anyways you did not answer my question... Who is your fav. team...
    @DLL... Spurs...
@Martin... I agree with you... However, in India football is not that good and our local team suck... So we divert our attention to EPL and La Liga... BTW did not get NOLU.. what league are they in..

Re: Favourite English Premier League Teams

I'm probably showing my age but when I was a boy and Spurs were the swashbuckling kings of entertainment* Arsenal were the purveyors of anti-football, the denizens of dire and the epitome of epic boredom (see 1971 double team - "winning without style")

    * This may be a slight exaggeration......

I think it is opposite... They defend on both sides... unfortunately they dont defend well when the opposite team is attacking their goal...

Not quite... Arselnal is not so strong this year so they had less than 50% chance to win. That's not unluck.

Edit: wow, how nice double negative

Zbor.. You are right... They are not as strong as they used to be... You really can not be when you sell your top two players escpecially Nasri, who carried them last season. However, I still believe that they had a better team then Rovers.

However it really was a great weekend of football in EPL

Re: Favourite English Premier League Teams

They are better. According to bookie:
    Blackburn 25% - Draw 35% - Arsenal 40%

I just wanted to say, if you have 40% to win and 60% not to win then it's not so unlucky not to win...
Not that Arsenal had 75% and they lost...

Leeds (they'll be back up there soon). Looking forward to the Man Utd game tonight. Don't give us much chance and the league is far more important so think we'll rest a few players but it would be funny of we knocked them out of another cup as a lower league outfit.
