    [COLOR] tags within [CODE] tags

I don't know where else to post this, so I'll leave it here and hope someone will redirect me (politely).

I was trying to color code a few keywords in some VBA that was inside CODE tags, and the color was not applied to the words. The COLOR tags were not removed, which I at first suspected, they were simply ignored.

It would be nice to be able to highlight one or two words in a code sample, so readers can easily see for example what has changed since an earlier sample. That other big Excel forum does support color tags within the code tags.

    Hello, Jon,

If you choose the "Child of 3.7.2" skin (which is what most or all of the mods use), they will work.

The "tighty whitey" skin has several problems that the forum owner ignores, despite many requests.

Thanks for the feedback. Okay, I've changed the skin. Too bad the forum owner ignores problems, but in the grand scheme of things, this was pretty minor.

Re: [COLOR] tags within [CODE] tags

I switched to Child of 3.7 and the color appeared in the code. Turns out only people using Child of 3.7 can see the color-coded code that I was posting. Since its not the default, and I doubt many people are using this alternate skin, I guess then we have to wing it color-blind.
