Thread deletions and secret moderator rules

DB errors are still present on and off and when the website loads sometimes it takes a few minutes. Just got this error before a DB error:

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/eforum/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 602"

Note to RoyUK, Vai and Moderators: When everything is back to normal, you might want to take a few minutes to discuss amongst yourselves amendmnets to the forum rules. I started a thread on MS MVPs in the Water Cooler and in a matter of minutes it was deleted without notice or reason by one of the moderators. I won't go into the details because I am now dis-interested in pursuring this issue any further but the forum rules should reflect the rights and responsibilities of all forum members including moderators. If mods have the power to delete posts/ threads for certain reasons then that should be explicitly stated in the forum rules. That is of course unless there are secret rules for governing the site that are only known to the moderators.

This will most likely be my last post for a while... good luck.

Re: Report issues here - AND NOTHING ELSE, PLEASE!

No-one amongst the Mods would delete a post for no reason, it either broke the listed forum rules, contained references to specific people or was taken to be offensive. Alternatively it may have been a system error
    Hope that helps.

Well it's nice to see that you have blind faith in your moderators, and so after you investigate the issue further could you please let me know exactly which rule was broken since this was not provided to me following the intentional deletion of the thread (no system error, maybe a human one, but the blame can't be put on the website this time).

Re: Report issues here - AND NOTHING ELSE, PLEASE!

I can't understand what the issue is here. I've had several PMs form you & replied with my opinion. I've told you to take any issues with MVPs up with MS.

I can have "blind faith" in the mods because they are picked out & approved by the other mods.

This is now closed & I will not respond to any more PMs. I've better things to do with my time

This is not a Forum upgrade issue in any case
